Please refrain from using Spiral Matrix for the following activities:

1. Displaying material containing nudity, pornography, or sexual material of a lewd, lecherous or obscene nature and intent or that violate local, state and national laws.

2. Providing material that is grossly offensive to the online community, including blatant expressions of bigotry, prejudice, racism, hatred or excessive profanity.

3. Promoting or providing instructional information about illegal activities. Promoting physical harm or injury against any group or individual, or promoting any act of cruelty to animals. This includes, but is not limited to, the following activities: Providing instructions on how to assemble bombs, grenades and other weapons.

4. Covering excessive amounts of land in any of the Spiral Matrix public building worlds, by any means including bots, keyboard macros, or even manual building. Please limit land claiming to land which you can directly use to build on yourself. "Excessive" land claiming is defined as any area greater than 1/4 of a square kilometer, or 25 cells by 25 cells.

We reserve the right to suspend or remove any world, objects or properties from the Spiral Matrix universe which is brought to our attention and which we find, in our sole discretion, violates any of these content guidelines or otherwise is in violation of the law.

Spiral Matrix does not actively monitor the content of the worlds in Spiral Matrix, but we will investigate complaints of violation of these guidelines.

Users who are in violation of the Spiral Matrix Content Guidelines may have their membership revoked, services cancelled and their worlds or properties, or portions of their properties, removed without warning; in which event Spiral Matrix will not return the removed properties or Worlds to the offending member.

Spiral Matrix is not responsible or liable for any loss of data resulting from our deletion of worlds or properties, network or system outages, file corruption or any other reasons.

The opinions and views expressed in the Spiral Matrix Universe do not reflect those of Spiral Matrix. The contents of the worlds are not reviewed in any way before they appear in the Spiral Matrix Universe.

Spiral Matrix is not responsible for the content in any of the worlds. Users are solely responsible for their properties, and everything contained in their own worlds. Spiral Matrix does not verify, endorse or otherwise vouch for the contents of any world. Users may be held legally liable for the contents of their worlds.

Spiral Matrix is not responsible for the delivery of any goods or services sold or advertised through its sponsors in the worlds.

Spiral Matrix also reserves the following rights:

To amend or change the Spiral Matrix Content Guidelines or End User License Agreement at any time and without notice. To release current or past member information if Spiral Matrix believes that a member's account is in violation of the Spiral Matrix Content Guidelines or End User License Agreement, is being used to commit unlawful acts, if the information is subpoenaed and/or if Spiral Matrix deems it necessary and/or appropriate. To deny membership to serious or repeat offenders of the Spiral Matrix Content Guidelines or End User License Agreement. To remove members for conduct that Spiral Matrix believes is harmful to other members, to non-members or to Spiral Matrix as a business.

Spiral MAtrix makes no guarantee of availability of service and reserves the right to change, withdraw, suspend, or discontinue any functionality or feature of Spiral Matrix.

In no event will Spiral Matrix be liable for any damages, including, without limitation, direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of the use of or inability to use Spiral Matrix or any content therein. This disclaimer applies, without limitation, to any damages or injury, whether for breach of contract, tort, or otherwise, caused by any failure of performance; error; omission; interruption; deletion; defect; delay in operation or transmission; computer virus; file corruption; communication-line failure; network or system outage; or theft, destruction, unauthorized access to, alteration of, or use of any record.
